Mark has been a speaker at McDonald Corporation, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Children's Hospital of Detroit, and many other organizations. His workshop topics include Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, 401(k) Planning and Portfolio Design, Stewardship Principles, Planned Giving, Money Management Basics, and Communication Dynamics in the Workplace. He is required by various state and professional organizations to have a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education each year. Over the past three years, Mark has averaged 23 credit hours per year. He has completed formal training in the disciplines of Risk Management, Modern Portfolio Theory, Retirement Planning, Estate Tax Avoidance, and Corporate Pension/Profit Sharing Plan Design. Mark enlisted in the service in 1979 and earned a four-year academic ROTC Scholarship to the University of Wisconsin. He graduated in 1984 and served five years in the US Marine Corps. He toured Okinawa, Japan, South Korea, and Panama as an Infantry Officer. He began his financial service career in 1990. Mark resides with his lovely wife Caryn and teenaged children (Garrett and Hannah) in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
